LE SABLIER

Promotional film produced to mark the launch of the book Le Sablier (The Hourglass), the story of Edith Blais, the Canadian kidnapped by jihadists.

In January 2019, the families of Edith Blais and the Italian Luca Tacchetto appeal for help: the two travelers disappeared somewhere in Africa without leaving a trace. Between the news of their disappearance and that of their release, 15 months will pass during which no one knows what happened to them. With Le Sablier, Edith lifts the veil on her story and answers the questions that everyone is asking. Who held them? In what conditions? For what reasons? How did they survive? And under what circumstances did they regain their freedom?
